Javier Pastore Rips a Screamer!

This week Bobito United faced off against a strong squadron from the Liga BBVA. With two wins required for a chance at promotion into Division 5, the United Team was making every chance count. In the eighteenth minute a bad pass from the opposition led to an open look from 25 yards for none other than captain Javier Pastore.

Although Bobito's strong offense which included Lavezzi, Iturbe, and Correa were creating chances early on in the game, following the 18th minute goal, production slowed for the rest of the game. With the crowd cheering loudly for Bobito's first step for promotion to come true, the team buckled under the pressure as the opposition put in a late goal to tie the game.

Promotion will have to wait the next season to possibly come true. Perhaps the management will look for some new players who will be able to push the team over the barrier to break into the next division.
